Myth;
"RE/MAX IS ONLY FOR TOP PRODUCERS"
TRUTH;
While it's true that RE/MAX is the home of top producing
agents, and that RE/MAX has a higher percentage of agents
earning in the top 5% nationally than any other company, it would be
inaccurate to say that RE/MAX is only for top producers. In
fact, because of our low fees and high commission philosophy,
RE/MAX is the perfect fit for the rising star, or agents that wish
to operate at levels that fit their business goals and personal
livestyles.
Myth;
"RE/MAX ONLY WANTS EXPERIENCED SEASONED AGENTS"
TRUTH;
What we are looking for are professional
people with a business and or sales background and an
entrepreneurial spirit, that know and understand what
it takes to succeed in business today. RE/MAX is not for the
hobbyist, part timers or people not serious about their
business. Success is contagious and we want agents inspiring
others and being inspired by others. Whether you are newer
to the business, or a seasoned veteran, if you have the
commitment, dedication and passion to succeed and get the
most from your business, this is where you belong.
Myth;
"RE/MAX DOESN'T HAVE THE EASTSIDE MARKET SHARE OF SOME
OTHER COMPANIES"
TRUTH;
The company that has the most offices and
the most agents will always be the company with the largest
market share. It's simple mathematics. But don't be fooled
or mis-lead by this. What is a more telling statistic is
which agents or which companies are doing the most business.
RE/MAX offices and agents on average sell more homes than any
other company.

Myth;
"RE/MAX WILL COST ME LISTINGS AND BUYERS"
TRUTH;
Actually, just
the opposite will be the case. When agents join
RE/MAX they will see their business increase. There
are many reasons for this is, (Go to Why Agents Change and
click on Agent Production) one of which is that agents
have more money to spend on their own self-promotion
when they don't have to pay high broker fees. Top agents
know that real success comes from investing in their own business,
not their broker's business.
Myth;
"RE/MAX IS EXPENSIVE TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH"
TRUTH;
That's what our competition would like you to
believe, but the simple truth is just the opposite. RE/MAX's
core philosophy and where our very name comes from, 'Real
Estate Maximums', allows agents to retain the maximum
commission possible while having the lowest fees available
for a name brand company. In keeping with this philosophy,
RE/MAX Elite's fees are among the lowest on
the entire eastside. Our fees will run in some cases half
of what agents pay to be associated with some other name

Myth;
"RE/MAX WILL NICKEL & DIME YOU WITH ADDITIONAL FEES AND
CHARGES"
TRUTH;
Other companies try to convince agents there
are hidden fees at RE/MAX because they can't compete with
the significant savings agents enjoy when affiliated with
RE/MAX. How can RE/MAX be so much less than other companies?
Simply put, it's 'Broker-centric' versus 'Agent-centric'
philosophy. At RE/MAX we believe the agents should keep
more of what they earn. We believe when agents affiliate
themselves with "Agent-centric" companies, like
RE/MAX ... Everybody Wins.
Myth;
"RE/MAX IS A DESK FEE OFFICE ONLY"
TRUTH;
RE/MAX has always been a fee office concept.
That is the basis on how the company was founded. And it will
maintain the fee concept and encourage its agents to structure
their business that way, because it is the most cost effective
for the agents. Maximizing your profits is what RE/MAX is
all about. However, for those converting from another
company in which they were on a funded program, and are not
yet comfortable with the desk fee structure RE/MAX Elite
does offer a split commission or funded office program.
Myth;
"RE/MAX OFFERS NO TRAINING. YOU ARE VIRTUALLY ON YOUR OWN"
TRUTH;
Probably one of the biggest myths of all. The fact is RE/MAX
is the leader in agent training. Providing 20 hours of
advanced and comprehensive training every week, right
in our own office, on the RE/MAX Satellite Network.
Also available on RSN is our Hall of Fame Coaching which airs
on the second Tuesday of every month. The coaches that
can be seen on RSN are; Howard Brinton, Brian Buffini,
Dave Liniger, Connie Podesta and Richard Robbins. In
addition to RSN training classes, courses are offered throughout
the year both by the RE/MAX Southern Ohio Region and through
our own office at RE/MAX Elite.
Myth;
"RE/MAX DOESN'T HAVE THE TOOLS, SERVICES OR SUPPORT OF MY
CURRENT COMPANY"
TRUTH;
Once again the myth doesn't hold up to scrutiny.
RE/MAX is the largest real estate company in the world. Common
sense alone would tell you there is no tool or program we
don't have or can't get. The fact of the matter is RE/MAX
has significantly more tools and programs available to agents
than any other real estate company period. Check out
